Who we are

We are Hansa Vulkan Studio, a business name of James Bossard, a sole trader in Queensland, Australia. You can contact us at contact@hansavulkan.com.

About the game

We make Gull's Rest, a free-to-play puzzle game for Android and iOS. The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent and believe your child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

What we collect

Game progress

We save your game progress on your device only. We do not run an account system or a game server, and we do not collect your name or email through the game.

Advertising data

We show ads through Google AdMob and may also use ad networks mediated through it. These providers collect device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location from IP, ad interactions and device information to serve and measure ads.

In regions that require consent, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent first using a consent message. On iOS, we ask permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking.

Purchases

We use Google Play or the Apple App Store to process in-app purchases. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation that a purchase happened.

Analytics, attribution and crash reports

We may use analytics, install attribution and crash reporting services to understand how the game performs and where installs come from.

How we use it

We use information to run the game, show and measure ads, process purchases, fix bugs, understand performance and comply with the law.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers described above, acting for us or on their own terms. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your choices

You can decline ad consent when asked or withdraw it in the game's settings.

You can reset your advertising ID in your phone settings and limit ad tracking in iOS or Android settings. Uninstalling the game removes the game data stored on your device.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including Australia under the Privacy Act 1988, the EU and UK under the GDPR, and California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information and to object to some processing.

Email us at contact@hansavulkan.com and we will respond within 30 days. Because we keep no account data for the game, most requests are handled by the ad and attribution providers. We will point you to them.

Data retention and security

We keep very little information. Our service providers' retention periods apply to the data they hold. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

Changes

We will post updates to this policy here and change the “Last updated” date.
